Leach Brothers of Hebden Bridge alongside their good friends Richard Martindale and Brian Clennan (each equal share holders of the original birds) offer a very
select draught of top drawer Les Green Van Den Bulck bloodlines, these birds are very inbred to the top lines that Les housed in his lofts before he had his eye watering sale on PIPA, Grandparents to this group of babies that we offer were amongst many of the top priced birds sold in Les’s dispersal sale. In the first
year that we bred from them only a small handful of youngsters were raced this was mainly because we wanted the birds that we had purchased to be allowed time to mature, we paired them at the end of March, the three cocks each had a single flight pen we just kept offering top quality hens to the cocks and floating the eggs, the babies from this process were placed into aviary’s and allowed to mature. At the end of 2019 Richard, Brian, and ourselves shared the young stock out and these became the birds that we have bred from and tested in
2020 alongside direct children from our originals purchased from Les. We are very pleased with how the Bulcks have crossed into our own successful family of birds, we have no doubts at all that these birds on offer will be an excellent cross into any sprint/middle distance family of birds that just need a wee kick up the butt.
